Two Pianos

We recently rebuilt two Steinway Ls that were manufactured in 1926.  Amazingly, they came off the assembly line at the same time, and left the piano factory at the same time. One stayed in New York and the other went to Texas. Both single owned pianos spent a lifetime with the people who originally bought them.

Now, after almost a century apart, both pianos came to our shop, at THE EXACT SAME TIME, to be rebuilt. Here are some photos depicting the condition they were in after decades of steady use.
